Things I use to get work done
A curated list of the tools, gadgets, and resources that are integral to my daily routine, whether I'm coding, managing projects, or simply staying organized.
Workstation
16” MacBook Pro, M1 Pro, 16GB RAM (2022)
This is my daily driver on which I build all things. I also have a 13” M1 MacBook Air that I use for travel and as a backup.
LG UltraFine Series 32” 4K Ultra HD LED Monitor
I have been using this since 2022 and it’s been great. I would recommend everyone to always code on a 4K monitor or swtiching between a MacBook screen and monitor screen becomes a nightmare.
Keychron K2 v2 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard
Hot swappable Gateron Brown Switches with RGB backlighting.
Apple Magic Trackpad
Nothing comes close to the Apple Magic Trackpad if you are a trackpad person. You get the added advantage of being able to use all multi touch gestures that MacOS supports.
Airpods Pro 2nd Gen
Get's the job done with good noice cancelllation capabilities. Ideal for when I take meetings while walking.
Bose QC 35 II
For listening to music or working at the desk. Though my usage of these headphones has reduced quite a bit since I do most of the things on the AirPods now.
Apple Watch Series 7
I don't know why I own this.
Development tools
VSCode Insiders
I use the insiders version of VSCode as my daily driver. It’s been great so far and I have no complaints. I am looking to try out Zed and Cursor soon.
iTerm2
Basic setup with OhMyZSH and powerlevel10k theme.
Notion
I am a big fan on Notion. Personal life management, note taking, work documentation, and any sort of writing goes here.
Linear
My tool of choice for issue tracking.
Productivity and Health
Raycast
Raycast has completely transformed the way that I work on my Mac with all the superpowers on my finger-tips.
HealthifyMe
For tracking food intake. There are better alternatives but I haven't found anything that has such a big catalogue on Indian foods
