Google Summer of Code: an interactive renderer for SimpleCV.

  1. Built a new interactive rendering system for SimpleCV for Google Summer of Code 2013 (Revisiting the Rendering System), making it independent of the obsolete PyGame library.

  2. Developed it with PyGTK and Cairo, along with a web counterpart for IPython Notebooks using JavaScript and Processing.js.

  3. Before the summer, contributed image-processing features to SimpleCV: image normalization, Prewitt edge detection, a channel mixer, motion blur, and running averages and peak finding for line scans.
