A dating app for people who already have each other's number.

How Dono works

  1. Add the number of someone you like. They don't even need to be on Dono yet.

  2. If they add your number too, you both find out it's mutual. If they don't, they never learn it was you.

  3. Live on the web in India, with the iPhone and Android apps launching soon.

Why I'm building it

  1. I wanted to learn go-to-market for a B2C app, and Dono is my playground for it: running ads, working with influencers, short videos and UGC content on Instagram and TikTok, Reddit-based marketing, and getting the word out in colleges and schools.

  2. I see it as a product that can go viral in waves, and that can also grow if I put enough money into ads.
